What Jesus Said
This document includes the words of Jesus from the New Testament, particularly the Gospels, with a few of his statements from Acts. The biblically adapted text is from the J.B. Phillips New Testament Bible. Our intention was to include only enough information about the circumstances surrounding his words so that one would understand the context of Jesus’ statements. It is our hope that reading Jesus in this way will allow a deeper perspective and appreciation of the Master’s life and teachings. Jesus’ statements are in red
